New to Bitbucket ... still clueless after Bitbucket 101 :-(

I am used to ClearCase, It has a simple Check-Out and Check-In Windows
based application that I am familiar.

I just joined a company that has no source control and someone recommended
Bitbucket. I made to through Clone Your Git Repo and Add Source Files
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BITBUCKET/Clone+Your+Git+Repo+and+Add+Source+Files

The Bitbucket 101 looks like it was adding source control to my laptop
under my userid at c:\users\. Do I have to go through the tutorial again
to add the source control folder to my web server? I really don't want to
have to transfer the entire web application to my laptop.

I also want a simple Windows application for check-out/check-in. The Git
tutorial was all command line based. Does Bitbucket has a Windows based
executable?

Thanks for your help,

Mel
